Prayer Update from the Mwangis
5 July 2024

Dear prayer partners,

Thanksgiving

·        Please thank God for his provision of the ministry house which is proving to be very suitable for our needs to run trainings.

·        Praise God that the children all recovered from their illnesses and are now back to full health and that Gerald and Louise have had a bit of rest with June being less busy than the other months.

·        Thank God that Louise was able to fly to Northern Ireland for a couple of days for the funeral of her Uncle John and to reconnect with immediate and extended family after a long time.

Prayer points

·        Please pray for the Marsabit senior leaders who are attending training 1st July – 13th July. They are focusing on Titus for Bible Study and preaching practice. They will also be preparing for the trip in August where they will be leaders for training the large group of 80 who we hope will return when we visit Marsabit. It is a rural place with mainly nomadic people groups. It is a harsh environment and yet so many are so passionate about sharing the gospel and discipling others. Pray that the Lord would bless them and encourage them in their endeavours.

·        Please pray for Gerald and Louise to be spiritually refreshed in their ministry, marriage and family life, that they would trust God’s leading and be faithful in all they do.

·        Pray for the youth leaders who are attending the training courses, that they would be receptive and thoughtful as they engage with the Bible and the teaching.

·        The children will be at home from school for most of July and August so please pray for Louise particularly as she looks after them and keeps them occupied. For energy, patience, creativity and safety.
