Prayer Update Jan 2026
Happy New Year!
We hope you have had a lovely Christmas and time off and are ready to enjoy everything 2026 brings!
We have started to share prayer points and photos by what’s app, if you would like to be added to the broadcast list please reply with your number.
Here are some prayer points for January.
Do let us know how you are getting on, we love hearing news 🙂
Thanksgiving
– We are thankful for a restful and enjoyable Christmas season as a family.
– We are thankful that we were able to attend the Renew conference for cross-cultural workers in East Africa. We had many countries represented including Tanzania, Seychelles, Congo, South Sudan, Burundi and Kenya. It was very refreshing and the children enjoyed their group – they made new friends, played new team games and it was encouraging for us as parents to see their growth and maturity during the last year.
– Gerald taught a group from Makueni during December before they went back to serve their churches during the Christmas celebrations. We are grateful for their commitment and willingness to engage with the training.
– Louise was involved in 6 days of training and meetings with the staff and the school, this all went well and we are all looking forward to Term 2 and 3 which are less strenuous generally than Term 1! We are very thankful for the school community and the friendships within.
Prayer requests
– There will be an element of transition during the next few months and things will change for the training within ACK (Anglican Church of Kenya). So Gerald will be participating in meetings and looking at logistics of how he can participate in the wider training of those in church ministry, working alongside others more closely. We will be able to share more details in a few months, so for now there are no scheduled training sessions. Please pray for Gerald and others involved in these conversations that God would give wisdom and clarity during this process, also for refreshment during this break from leading training sessions.
– Please pray for Louise, Jeremiah, Daniel and James as they continue at school, to be blessed and to be a blessing to those around them.
